The Ultimate Day For Any Photographer

If you are really serious about your photography, processing, or printing - or want to get there - this is the workshop for you. Tim has been a working professional nature photographer for more than 30 years - take advantage of his wide range of skills and knowledge of all aspects of photography from the very basics of shooting to crafting the finest fine art prints. There is no skill level requirement to enroll - anyone will end the day a much better photographer than when the day started, no matter if you just bought your first point and shoot, or have a carload of expensive equipment. The instruction is tailored to your individual needs no matter what your skill level. And Tim is not brand loyal - he shoots Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Phase One, and Mamiya.

Here is a typical schedule, although you can choose what you decide to concentrate on and how much time you spend on any given aspect of photography - meet Tim somewhere at or before daylight (probably in the upper Buffalo River area - this will depend on water and weather conditions). Spend all morning shooting whatever you want, learn and practice the techniques to make works of art instead of just snapshots. The locations can be as varied and as easy or tough as you like - shoot from the roadside, or bushwhack to some very out of the way places deep within the wilderness. Stop long enough to have lunch in Jasper or at any nearby cafe - or at the Cloudland Cabin. Spend all afternoon at Tim's personal work space within the Buffalo River Gallery - going through the complete digital workflow from download to print, which includes a lot of work in Photoshop (currently CS4); work on any specific areas you need help with - from the very basics to advanced Photoshop work; make prints of your work on any of Tim's printers using a variety of papers - keep whatever prints you make during the day. Most folks are exhausted by this time, but if you are not and want to do some more shooting, we'll make an evening shoot before your day ends. You may vary the schedule to suit your needs - shoot all day long, process all day long, or any combination you choose.

The price for one photographer is $995 which includes lunch and all prints you make; two photographers can come together for $1495, or a maximum of three photographers can be together for $1995 (OK, we could probably do four photographers, as long as everyone knows each other really well and can fit in the same vehicle - $2495). The day can be scheduled to suit your needs - a weekday is best to avoid crowds, but any weekend Tim is available is OK too.

Gift certificates are available - this is the finest gift you could give to any photographer!

E-mail Tim with any questions and to sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime private workshop.
