Colorado Camp 9,033' cam June 27 - colorful sunrise and wild roses -
HAPPY WEEKEND TO YOU!

06/10/25 LOTS of wildflowers are blooming in the yard already. It's gonna be a great summer season in the high country.

THE SEARCH FOR HALEY book is now AVAILABLE in PAPERBACK once again! It's been out of print a long time, but with the "Print On Demand" service from Amazon you can order the paperback or E-Book version.
CLICK HERE for our book info page, then click the links to order direct from Amazon. (May have a few copies also available at our Gallery when open.)
06/11/25 We had eight mule deer in the yard this morning - seven young bucks and one big fat future-momma doe. They all dined on fresh rose bushes and young aspen leaves. It's a great time to be a deer in the high country here!

06/13/25 A parade of wildlife continues - this giant fox was literally at our doorstep yesterday looking for a handout. Her fluffy tail was as long as her body (we think she is a recent mom and therefore quite skinny).

06/15/25 SHHH don't tell anyone yet - but I've finally coomleted the new 2026 Arkansas Wall Calendar. The back cover is shown above. We hope to have these available in early July (they are being printed in Montana, USA).

06/21/25 We had a mountain lion sighting on our property this morning. A neighbor stopped to tell us he'd just seen one cross our meadow and head into one of our aspen groves. I grabbed a big camera and headed up the hill where I could see an open steep hillside above that grove and waited. This mule deer came out of the aspen grove and up the hill, stopping to look behind, pretty nervous. He spotted me, looked back towards the big cat, then bounded on up and out of sight. I never did get a photo of the cat. Our puppies will spend the day INSIDE our camper most likely.
