11/02/23 This a snapshot from my hike yesterday evening up into the "hailstone" area of the Buffalo River to take a few photos just before dark. When I arrived at this spot I spent an hour and shot about 85 pics. Than had a lovely hike back downstream and across the river to my van. This was a terrific bookend to my day which begin several miles downstream standing in the same Buffalo River waters. It was a good day (as are most when you get to stand in the river taking pictures...).

11/03/23 Look MA, a new pile of fuel for our wood-fired PIZZA OVEN - from Kennie and Spanky Woods! (we traded fresh-from-the-oven homemade Cloudland Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies that my lovely bride just made) HAPPY PIZZA DAY TO US! (Kennie delivered and unloaded all of this for us, but I'm not sure if any of the cookies made it to his brother, Spanky!) These ash tree planks should last us a year...

11/17/23 Here's a snapshot overlooking Bice Bend taken from the edge of Ludlow Bluff down in the Lower Buffalo Wilderness yesterday morning - reminds me of the Horshoe Bend area of the Colorado River that I photographed back in the early 1990's.

11/19/23 Moments before sunrise today the clouds went from red, pink, purple, to orange, then finally to yellow and white as the sun was rising. I had to jump off the couch and run outside each color change for photos while eating/drinking my breakfast - it's tough for me to just sit there and watch without trying to capture at least some of the glory.
